Thanks for checking my page out. I am Audrey Peacock and I am a Stylist. I am also a 60 something year old lady living the dream. Over the past six decades I have experience life like you, trying new careers, meeting new peoples, and loving those who love me as I love them.
I am a retired school teacher (most recently as a gifted specialist) and now I am sharing the love of jewelry. I am married to the most amazing and supportive man in the world (Allen, pictured) and have one fabulous son, Nicholas, one adorable daughter in love, Christi, and one amazing step-son (or I should say son), Luke.
Take a blank slate - say a boring black top or a white T - add earrings or a hat and instantly you create magic! That’s what Peacock’s Prettys is all about - making the ordinary, extraordinary, one pretty at a time!
Join us in this journey to make the world more beautiful pretty at a time! This page is to share my passion and love for fashion and accessories and the sisterhoods that encompasses it and well as lifestyle posts with products I love.
My journey brought me here to this place, when I retired a little over a year ago - because of marriage and relocation, and I was looking for something to do with myself. I had been working with a sweet teacher friend before I retired, and she was a Plunder Stylist, and well.... I was buying this cute jewelry from her. When the opportunity was put before me, I thought, why not? The worse thing that can happen would be I would have a bunch of cute jewelry at an affordable price. Little did I know of the journey and the friendships I would find. Allen and I got married, moved to the lake (which was closer to where he worked - and yes, I am a cougar - I married a younger man) and I really needed to still be a part of the working community. So - hence - I joined Plunder Design - and this part of my journey has begun. We have a sisterhood who love to help each other. We are often asked to tell our "why." "Why" do we want to do what we do? "Why" did we choose this career path? My dream and "why" is to be able to empower other women so they can reach their dreams and realize they are important just by being themselves and build positive relationships by doing so.
I still remain a part of the education community as the Executive Director of the Alabama Association for Gifted Children. You can see what is going in the "gifted" world at alabamagifted.org
I hope you enjoy seeing what I share! Maybe, just maybe, you are looking for something, too! Do you have an organization that is near to your heart and you would love to give back as I would? Let me know!
